What is circular lifestyle

A circular lifestyle means making everyday choices that are good for both people and the planet. It’s a mindset where we try to reduce waste, reuse what we can, and share or repair instead of always buying new things. Whether it's choosing second-hand clothes, using a reusable water bottle, or supporting local repair shops, small actions add up. A circular lifestyle helps us use resources wisely and create less pollution, making our cities cleaner, more sustainable, and better places to live.

About the NiCE Project

This website was developed within the framework of the NiCE Project: From Niche to Centre-City Centres as Places for Circular Lifestyles, which is co-funded by the Interreg Central Europe Programme.

City centres are changing. As online shopping grows and traditional retail declines, there's a unique chance to rethink how we use urban spaces. The NiCE project helps turn city centres into vibrant places for sustainable living, where reuse, repair, sharing, and circular choices are easy and visible.

By testing real solutions in eight pilot cities and working with local partners across Central Europe, NiCE brings circular lifestyles from niche ideas to everyday reality.
